Hey ladies! We apologize again for being MIA these past few weeks. We actually don't have a valid reason this time, except that Zel & I just started school again and we went to Batangas for a spiritual retreat. I guess, you could say... we've been busy studying and praying? Haha!
Anyway, on to the real topic!
Etude House: Proof 10 Aqua Tint
Etude House's Proof 10 Aqua is actually not just lip tint. Although it's casing strongly suggests it's more a lip tint than a cheek tint in my opinion. It's also waterproof (plus points for that!), hence the name Aqua Tint. There are two shades/color available in the market, but I got the Orange Red since it was the only one available at the store where I bought it.
I bought it for around 348 pesos if I'm not mistaken. It doesn't exceed 400 pesos so I still think it's quite affordable considering it would last me for about 5-6 months.
Here's the BEFORE and AFTER:
MY VERDICT: 7 out of 10 stars
The color looks great and my lips doesn't itch at all when I apply. When I bought my first lip tint from Avon, it sucked big time! I got allergies for buying that piece of crap. Anyway, Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint doesn't make my lips chap, which is definitely a good sign whether the product you're using is harmful or not.
It looks natural when you apply just the right amount of tint. It wouldn't look good if you put too much. Don't overdo it if you are trying to achieve the 'Natural' look. When it wears off, it leaves a shade of orange that looks like a pretty stain on a white blouse.
I don't like using it as a cheek tint since it works so much better when I use it as a lip tint. I don't recommend using the same brush for the lips and the cheeks so I guess that's the only problem I have with it. Overall, I think it's a good buy. However, I won't be buying soon since I will be trying out tints from other brands such as Skin Food and Face Shop.
I'll be doing a review on Nichido's Tickled Pink Cheek Tint next!
